The below is an excerpt from todays Media Guardian in which the enlightened journalist Stephen Armstong discovers Touch is the only Black British Music Magazine and that HHC is based in America. The title is subsuquently hilarious. See below for just four examples of other BBM's.
Interesting to see Touch have a circulation of 45,000. When you're printing so much, you'd have thought it would be worth the (obviously spare cash from doing so many sales) money to be ABC audited. Hmm, seems not. How strange.
'In touch with the black music scene'
.......Touch is, surprisingly, Britain's only black music magazine. Its rivals are all US-based - magazines like The Source and Hip-Hop Connection. Although it has a solid circulation of some 45,000 after 15 years' growth from free fanzine to newsstand title, McKenzie is concerned that the publication spends too much time boasting of its street credentials with unnecessary jargon.......

45,000? I heard their circulation was south of 5,000 month. meanwhile MySpace has tens of millions of unique users...
