My Favourite Artist In The World Ever

How amazing? I already have the excellent print, but I'm saving up to buy the Oh-Rig-I-Nal.

Check out more of the fantastic Mr. Chisnall's work HERE

RIP

A member of '90s girl group 702 died this week. Orish Grinstead apparently succumbed to liver failure at the very young age of 27. Very sad.

If you don't know about Steelo, now you do...

Watch for a young Miss E.

Alicia Keys: Teenage Love Affair

While I'm at it, I have to say the last Alicia album was kinda under-rated. I mean, it's their own fault for not letting anyone hear it before release hence reviews are not all that, but over time it's a true grower. There's a lot of big-ass tracks on there.

Anyway, this isn't one of my favourite tracks, though I admit it does possess a certain charm and I likey the video... Teenage Love Affair.

Here's a video of the woman Janet Jackson, and many more, would love to lipse...

Ahhhhh....

I tried to get confirmation out of Usher while I was in LA last week, but he was very tight-lipped on the subject - though I swear he slipped up when he was talking about he and Jay having changed cos of being in committed relationships and then went directly into talking about marriage. Yeah, I'm reading too much into that, I know.

But either way it doesn't matter, cos here's the oh-ficial proof that the two done tied the knot!

Gracing Our Cover: Wiley. He may be known as the Godfather of Grime, but right now Wiley looks set to have the biggest hit of his career with mammoth smash, the electro/ grime/ house hybrid Wearing My Rolex. Emmanuel Ezugwu catches up with Eskiboy in his most revealing, honest interview yet.

About To Blow: The Thirst
When brothers Mensah and Kwame linked with secondary school pals Mark and Marcus they had two things; a band name and a guitar. In a short space of stereotype-defying time they’ve amassed much more. MTV and RWD predict Brixton’s The Thirst are set for even bigger things...

What, T.I. Can't Afford A Nappy?

What, times are that hard that the multi-millionnaire rhymer T.I. has to do a present list?

It seems ole Tiny is up the duff again, and, presuming this isn't a fake, the couple have registered at, er, Toys R Us spin-off, Baby's R Us!

Nappies, baby-wipes, Pooh Bear towels, friggin' $300 car seats are all on the list.

Truly insania!

Go Fox!!!

AHH roll with Foxy for a few hours last Friday... WTF has happened to her accent? Was she locked up in there with Paris Hilton? Homegirl sounds straight LA!

Oh Dear...

Maybe I'm not getting it, but isn't the new Nas single, Be A N*****r Too just about some of the worst lyrics God's Son ever done did?

I mean, I get the sentiment, I see the point he's making and the way he's doing it, but the wordplay just seems so below Nas' level (apart from 'Y'all some tellers, opposite of bankers"). It's like he's doing a pastiche of being a bad rapper. Oh, maybe that is the point... (beat by Salaam Remi btw)

Here's a couple of 'gems':

"Not mad that Eminem said n****r cos he my n****r/ Wigger, cracker friend/ We all black anyway but then/ We all African ok, Some Africans don't like us, no way..."

"Some say NAACP keep us sidetracked but I don't buy that/ I buy Aston Martins/ Faster cars than NASA cars..."

"Wake up in the morning shake my third leg in the toilet/ Uzi on the nightstand/ I'm the man you go to war with/ not the man you go to war against."

What? Nah, that's just not Nas standard, soz..

Reasons Why Foxy Brown Is Amazing...

How skinny does she look? Damn, ain't they feeing people in prison?

Foxy Brown was released from jail recently after being given a 12 month sentence for violating her parole, and wasted no time in getting her rap and shop on!

Inga was released early from prison after spending eight months behind bars at the Rose Singer Center For Women at Rikers Island in New York.

Fox was met by her mother Judith Marchand, lawyer Charles Barron, hundreds of reporters and fans, and her entourage, including a hair stylist, makeup artist and her managers, who arrived in a fleet of luxury vehicles.

Fox went inside after hitting a neighbour with her Blackberry and is said to have had a couple of problems in jail, which landed her in solitary confinement at one point.

Once released, she is said to have been fully groomed before greeting her fans and the press. She then dropped a freestyle for those following her around.

Fox now plans to release her new album Brooklyn's Don Diva on 13 May.

Here's Fox busting a freestyle:
