Nursing large hangover and some shame at breaking a certain pop stars dress (sorry bout that, yeah), but still very pleased that La Winey won last night. Deserved to say the least.
Had an amazing time at the show (thanks to Zoe @ MTV) and managed to get through a few free cocktails at the after-parties, as you do. Oasis were good, liked Snow Patrol and Killers too but would have liked a bit more hip hop. Amy did her thing though, and the Scissor Sisters' opening was fabulously camp. Brand was a good host, but I think everyone was dissapointed that there wasn't more scandal and shock. That is, apart from Joss Stone. Oh my God. My girl's been hanging out in LA too long. And what was with the mini-diva thing? Maybe she's been hanging out with Whitney or something. Weird. Just weird.
Best bits? Meeting Beth from The Gossip, who's over-big. And by that I mean...oh, you know. Loved that Aaliyah cover so much. She told me she's working on another cover, but wouldn't say what it was. Just that it wouldn't be baby gurl this time.
But even better, or as exciting, was meeting the one and only Perez Hilton of perezhilton.com fame. The dude is SO funny - his website currently attracts 4 millions hits. A day. I repeat, a day. Big boy inna the blogging game. In fact, the biggest boy probably. Meeting up with him on Saturday to find out how he got to be the world's most scandalacious.
Spotted plenty of famous peeps and tried to talk to Suggs from Madness but he was on the chirpse, I think and therefore not that interested in my opinions of the new Madness/ Sway track, or my singing things like 'Little Derek, Oh-kay-kay'....
Shouts to SonyBmg for hooking me up for their party and holla at The Nash for blagging me into the Universal one.
