Mr Rascal threw a nice little party in Hack-a-knee last week. Launching a new trainer with Nike, Diz was warmed-up aplenty by D Double and The Newham Generals. Shame the trendy fashionista's were a bit confused by 'Signal' - top-notch beats by, er, Mizz Beats but whaddya want? They did shake a leg to Diz though, who steamed through sterling renditions of 'Off To Work', 'I Luv U' and 'Jus A Rascal.' Supported by Semtex and a bar full of free Bacardi, the night seemed a resounding success - esp DEE, Fury, Footsie and Ears' freestlye sesh at the end. And there was me, an innoncent hip hop head unable to move from the front row. Jeez, what's next? I suddenly develop a taste for UKG? Had to hold it down for the Fiddy of course, who was ill, and seeing as it's her fault I've developed a taste for the grimy stuff, twas only right I repped for the E2 mah-sieve.
As for the new trainer? Um...
