The Ratpack in Stripping Shocker!

Nah, I haven't gone all tabloid on your assesess, here's a few shots of last nights monstrous Hotheadz promotions party at Ye Olde Axe on Hackney Rd. The strip-club was temporarily transformed into a hotbed of grime and rave craziness as Jammer, Ears and Skepta let off bars over Maximum's choice selects - Skream's soundtrack was a particular highlight as was, of course, the Merkle Man who insisted on pulling up/ mashing the needle numerous times. Skepta and Ears were also on on point with their 'go on then, go on then/ chinny, chin, chinnyness'! While they got the crowd of mostly bewildered businessmen and a fair few Shoreditch types going, the Rat Pack really set it off. The old classics got everyone raving and sweating heavily and took the Axe straight back to the early '90s. Somebody scrrrrreeeaammmmm. Oggi, Oggi Oggi an' all that. You may mock, but it was so ace to see those hands in the air! Was also cool to see the 'old' and 'new' schools talking later, and I think Everson Rat Pack was genuinely chuffed by the overwhelming reaction. Raveology is out soon and is reviewed rather favourably in the next issue of RWD, which is out in a few days btw!
