I want to take a minute to properly big up Professor Green who held it down PROPER for the UK last week in the Bahamas. To any haters out there, get off your fat arses, grab a mike, go onstage in front of Remy Ma, Cory Gunz and 300-odd strangers and spit lines like these off the top of YOUR dome. Not only did Green come in second place, but he was the only one who had to go through the whole process. Rather than 2 against 2 and then the winners battling each other, the strange set-up meant once Green beat Axel, he had to then beat Serius Jones before taking on a far fresher Jin - who had yet to spit. Green, however was adament that it was fair game. "When I win at Jump Off people hate and blame this or that," he told me. "So I'm saying Jin won, I accept that, and I can't wait till next year to go back and get that prize!"
In the first round Axel stuttered after dropping "I'll battle you on London Bridge while it's still falling down," and lost both his confidence and the battle as Green dropped gems like "I feel to smack ya/ Where I'm from he's known as a bloody wanker" and "I had your mum screaming 'yeeeah' like Lil Jon/ Yeah, I'm an Outkast but I had your girl giving me the love below." B-raps to that.
Green had it a bit tougher against Serius with his "i'm gonna make this princess die" and "I'm gonna burn this English muffin/ Even though you just got off the plane, you ain't never been fly," but truimphed once more with "I aint Austin Powers but I had his girl sayin yeahhhh baaabbbyyy" and "Serius Jones, Serious no/ I was with ya momma lat night and she's a serious ho."
Unsurprisingly, after having spat some 6 rounds already, Green faltered a little bit when Jin came at him hard and fast, despite lickashots like how Jin needed the $50k to recoupe his first video. Props to Jin though cos he did have some magic moments: "You couldn't take the 50 home if you was Vivica Fox."
Once again, hearing a heap of Yanks shouting 'Yuuuu Kayyy' at the tops of their voices was extra nice. Well done to Green, ya killed it booooooy!

How arrogant is Kay Slay? He's just shook cos he knows the UK makes better shit than the most of the American's are coming with! Not everyone is gonna love Green, and that's cool, but I think the guy did a great job.
