Heatwave vs Mas Fuego - Friday 21st October 2005
After our smashing it at 333 last weekend, Heatwave are back tomorrow night at the Riddim Factory. Expect all the usual reggae, bashment and reggaeton in the main room, with PAs from Cuba's finest.
Kid Afrika is the most successful Cuban rapper on this side of the pond; back in Havana he's worked with the likes of Buena Vista Social Club. There'll be heavy Latin hip hop from him and live reggaeton from Leximan, who is one of the island's hottest new artists and who also celebrates his birthday on the night.
Also appearing in the main room will be North london bashment sound Fire Voice - expect killer selections from these boys. In the back room it's all about DJ Loco bringing más fuego and más reggaeton - he's the Latin scene's most hyped DJ whose tight mixing and forward thinking selections have seen him guest on Radio One recently.
