Interview-wise, the Mixtape Power Summit as a whole was completely crazy cos I interviewed everyone from the mighty REMY MA to SAIGON, KANYE and TRINA. Finally getting to talk to the one and Only MARY J BLIGE was also big and YOUNG JEEZY didn’t disappoint – the Snowman has a lot to say. The DC3 were also perfectly pleasant when I got 45 minutes backstage with them at Earls Court days before they broke up, asyado! Least favourite has to be PHARRELL but, hey, dude doesn’t like interviews so what you gonna do – still a hot hit-maker though. The YING YANG TWINS might have been kinda weird and made little sense interview-wise but I’m glad I got to see why the Dirty South is so darned dirty thanks to a three-day non-stop tour of various strip-clubs. Ironic really that Atlanta is right there in the heart of the bible-belt. In terms of giving an interviewer that something extra, then JUELZ SANTANA was the man with his tea and biscuits, served in his new condo out in New Jersey. I really liked SANTANA, ‘no homo.’ Oh, wait a minute…
