New single from Sway - the most marvellous Little Derek (okayyy--kayyyy) - is in a shop near you now. Now if I can go spend £2.99 when I already got the darned thing on promo, so can you. I see these people on the RWD forums saying 'why should we support, why should we pay money for something we ain't heard?' Cos if we aren't buying, fool, how can we expect anyone else to? If a scene's fans aren't supporting releases, why should we expect middle England to dip in their pockets? You can't cop every underground release that comes out, but you can make the effort to get one or two a month. If we can spend cash on Maccy D's and ringtones and Ipod Nanos, why can't we buy a piece of music that we love? If we don't buy it, people will stop making it, clubs will stop putting it on, radio won't spin it and the sound will only ever stay underground. Great for the purists but this music should be heard worldwide. It needs to be. Simple as.
And watch out for Sway's album out February. Branded with a 4.5 out of 5 in the latest issue of RWD, I can't recommend this record enough. Products, Hype Boys, Little Derek or Ugly Best Friend for favourite? Soz, can't pick just one. Go get.
