Something About Remy is some ultra-slick shit (finally bought a copy while in LA - whyt can't you buy US tracks off US iTunes) and you're telling me this ain't even gone gold yet? Someone's dropped the ball badly there, I knows that. First up; track 1-10 just batter you about the head with a 1,2 blow on the lyrical and beat front with Cool & Dre's drums and lines like 'What you mean I'm your second favorite female rapper? I'm better than half these n****s out here.' Viscious, mean and raw, Remy attacks the beats like its nothing! Then, just cos she can, she shows a more sensitive side on the last couple of tracks - Keyshia kills it on What's Going On while on Still she admits Ma ain't always perfect.
People of America, go get this album cos it's honestly worth it. And should it ever come out over here. UK heads need to get this too. "See this ain't nuttin that you're used to/ Out of the ordinary and unusual... Miraculous, phenomenal and aint nobody in here stopping you/ Show no love cus you a sucka/ Look at yaself in the mirror like what da fuck." Conceited? Yeah, well, she's got a reason!
