Dark Man X was in town a couple of weeks back for a playback and quick performance at Neighbourhood in West London. Don't remember hearing any new music, but he did come on and do a couple of tracks until storming off when no one knew the words to a song whose title escapes me. I used to really like X and 'Lord Give Me A Sign' is pretty big, at least beat-wise but I don't know if the growls and barks will cut it much longer. He insists if it ain't broke....don't fix it but I don't think it would hurt X to change the record a little. Did quickle interview with him and he was very, very cool. If not slightly random. Friendly enough dude though. Album drops soon and it will be interesting to see if it pushes platinum like the rest of his records. I mean, this guy moves units so maybe he'll pull the proverbial cat out of the bag again. We'll see.
