Allhiphop's Illseed got me all nostalgic with his cartoon post today. Thing is, they were all crap American ones, so here's a few of my favourite clips from back-in-the-day. Okay, considering my age, back-back-back-in-the-day....
G-Force!
"Children of the sun, see your time has just begun.." Hands down, the Don Daddy of ALL cartoons EVER. Estaban was the man!
'By the power of Grayskull, I am the power...' Wow, it really was quite gay. Who knew?
A very dapper gent, Willy Fog. Is it just me, or is that the intro's/ theme tunes are better than the actual cartoons? Man, '80 days around the world,' is a TUNE!
'One for one and all for one, it's a pretty story..." Dogtanian is the Big Dawg though this theme tune is looooooong!
Super Ted was a G!
How they gonna throw you off the production line like a 'piece of rubbish,' eh? Luckily the spotty man on a rocket from outer space saved him and took him to Mother Nature who gave him 'special powers'... Seriously, is it any wonder most people these days are a bit crazy. How can we be given all these amazing, bizarre stories as kids - I mean, think about how Eric from 29 Acacia Rd became Banana-Man - and not be generally and hugely disappointed with real life when we hit it?
