Opening act: Mika
Verdict: Sound a horn, blow sideways out your mouth, do whatever, cos whatever you look at it, this was DEADOUT. Until Beth Ditto stepped outside of a little hole in the set a la Alice In Wonderland and started singing Standing In The Way Of Control. And then it got good. Especially her big pink dress with matching hat. Well, not matching cos it was red. But a lot anyway. She showed Mika how to really open a show... Oh wait, she's now gone offstage and is singing that dryout Grace Kelly bag o shite. Stop the train at Yawnville cos I'm dropping off... No, not even the neon can keep my eyes open at this stage...
