The excellent but often unsung producer Static died yesterday. He was behind Pony, a lot of Aaliyah's last album plus Are You That Somebody as well as Destiny's Child, Jigga, Brandy and more recently Lil Wayne's Lollipop.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

We have been talking about the death and contributions of Static over at Highbrid Nation. I really am curious as to the reason why such a talented guy died so suddenly.
