Why is this not on Freedom of Speech??????????????????ITMAKESNOSENSE GODDAMMI!!!
cos he made it after freedom of speech...anyhoo onto the real topic at handwednesday i was reading your (Hattie Collins') review of Kano's album launch and whilst most of it was a decent article you managed, in your time as a reporter on Urban music in the UK, to have gotten Kano's age wrong in the article. He was born in 1985 and you have him aged 21 in your article, I was actually upset by this, either you didn't bother to do your research or you made a mistake or your editor decided to make him younger to make him more appealing. Either way I think its quite a big mistake to make, as it shows that maybe you don't take the artists seriously.feel free to respond either here or back on my own blog www.wmorefresher.com
hey ghett0, you're totally right. I'd love to blame the London Paper but the long and boring truth is that my internet connection on my laptop failed and so I had to send the review via blackberry. It's no excuse, but I do genuinely know that Kano is 23 and it's what I wrote in my original review, but I guess when I blearily typed it in at 3am I just hit the wrong number. Dumb mistake - but I'm actually pretty, pretty good at making them.Certainly not a case of me not taking artists seriously, not at all...
