Had to nick this off Max's blog, cos Melanie Fional is like Jazmine Sullivan '09. I missed her on the Kanye dates, annoyingly, but I'm hoping she'll be back over here soon.
She's from Canada, managed by Ty Ty of Jigga fame, signed to SRC, and has production from Futurecut and Salaam Remi on her album The Bridge. Not sure when it will be out, but check her. I thinks you mights likes...

Dun know the Melanie Fiona. I was spinning 'Give it to me right' back in november (way before any other DJ I might add ;-) ), knew she was gonna be big as soon as I heard she was managed by Roc Nation...
You can check out the proper version of somebody come get me. she released it last year under her previous stage name, melanie hall aka syren. was on one of them reggae gold type comps....
