I think Cam's lo-fi approach is spot on. Right now, no one wants to see G4s and Phantoms. With major cities like Detroit heading towards bankruptcy and the recession affecting everyone in some way, no matter how small, hip hop has to return to real and forget about the gloss and glamour for a minute.
