I Blame Coco Ft. Robyn: Caeser

I met Ms. Sumner (yah yah she's Sting's daughter) at the i-D Nick Knight shoot the other day. Pretty darn cool she was too. All bare legs in winter and shy scowls.

This is her first single, produced by Swedish trio Teddybears (who I also had the pleasure to meet recently), and apaz Robyn heard it and asked could she please be on the track. Which is nice.

Coco, who has worked with Hudson and appeared on Sway's last album, is releasing next year.

One thing, I've listened to this track loads, and I STILL can't work out what it's about. Anyone?

Thanks to Hong Kong Holly for the link.

So I feel like a geriatric writing this, but isn't it about young people feeling they can rule the world and start a revolution? "Who holds the shell will be Caesar" - a reference to William Golding's Lord of the Flies where the castaway children decide they need to create rules and have a leader - the person who held the conch shell was allowed to talk. Surely you've seen the film if you haven't read the book???
