Anyone else who was wondering: "Record of the Year is given to the artist who performs the song and the people who produce the track. Song of the Year is also awarded for a single or individual track, but the recipient of this award is the songwriter who dreamed up the song in the first place."

But what is the difference between 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year?' I'm really, very confused. Amy won both awards for Rehab, and it just doesn't make sense. A song is a record and a record is a song, no?

Please if someone can explain I'd be most grateful.

Rhi-Rhi did the daym thing with Morris Day and the Time though. Not sure whose idea that was or why the Grammys bought out Day, Jimmy and Terry, but it was a great look.
