Lateness on my part, but this mixtape is fihure! Came out in March and features the Jay Z/R. Kelly diss, a speeded-up Game imploring Rocafella to suck his d**k at that show in Amsterdam over a Green Day guitar loop as well as tracks by Klash, KRS-One, and, best of all, an unidentified man speaking the words to Snoop's Gin and Juice. Think William Shatner's Lucy In The Sky of Diamonds but smoked out and you're kinda close.
The Welsh Don has recently been signed to Interscope or 'the devil' if you believe the Source, so expect production from Dre and the 'Tunes (I hear MIA is in similar hands over there).
Anyway, this tape is kinda old now but worth getting anyway for the achives. Go to www.akirathedon.com where you can pick up the new one, 'Wankers', and while you're at it find out all about Akira's New York escapades, including working with Bashy, would you believe. Expect very large things from this man.
