Master Tracks

Not feeling the 'Ten Toes' track too tough, but it is worth checking for Stat Quo's verse - Quo's PJ has been longer coming than a replacement computer from Apple (See below) but no doubt with the full force of Interscope pushing the hype machine hard, he'll do some big things. For his sake lets hope he's more Game than Obie though, ya know?

Lil Wayne looks to be no closer to inking with Shawn but he continues to provide the Southern heat on 'Shorty Bounce'. The teardrop-tatted one teams with Jazzee Phizzle (about to embark on a 'BOBW' project with Cee Lo) on a track taken from the 'Longest Yard' soundtrack (out now) which stars Nelly and Adam Sandler.Keeping it in the Durrty, Field Mob borrow Ray Charles' 'Georgia On My Mind' sample for a Luda- assisted melancholy slice of musicality. Luda's verse is tight - "I got five Georgia homes where I rest my Georgia bones/ Come anywhere near my land and I'll aim at your Georgia Dome" - and also like this from the second dude to man-up (soz don't know who's who). "From the home of neck-bones, black-eye peas, turnip and collard greens/ The churnin' on the corn dirtier than Bob Marley CD." From the roota fo' real!

Oh my gosh the Ying Yang's 'Whisper' refix is real sickalicious! Scrappy, Missy and Bus-a-bus bring a lil extra something, something. Hoping to be in the ATL next week to interview the brothers from another mother so looking forward to hearing what else they've got in store.

Talking of Missy I am so needing to hear the Vybz Cartel and MIA track on 'The Cookbook'. One of my favourite female emcee/ producers/ writers with my favourite deejay and one of my fave UK artists - it's gotta be big. Lets hope the promo 'soon come'!

Also on rotation: Bumpy J/ Kanye's 'Pusherman' slice of fire (waaay better than their last collab Move Around) and the new Jigga freestyle featuring new Roc signing Aztek (www.hiphopgame has an interview with the young gun), Busta's Scott Storch smasher, 'I'll Hurt You' featuring the Shady that is Slim, the Bogle (RIP) 'All Dema Dey' over 'Drop It Like It's Hot' and Juelz Santana's 'You Ain't My Homie' with the South's sovereign T.I. Oh and any views on the SAS Kanye take-off 'Diamond's Aren't Forever?' I rather like 'why you biting? our bars aren't chocolate' line I must say.
