So Fifty and Kanye have both leaked. Have had one spin of 50 and I don't think it's that bad. It's definitely 100% hip hop (well 97% with the R&B-lite tracks) compared with West's dance-flavoured effort. That said, K's Champion is a great song. I have a sneaking suspicion that Graduation may go from a 2:2 to a 2:1. I definitely want Kanye to win, just because 50 is so set on the idea that sales is what makes an album better, but that's arse.
Some amazing albums have sold little - yet T.I.'s dross Tip Versus... was the No.1 in the US, so, sorry Fif that argument doesn't wash with me.
Anyway, further judgment held until I've listened to both properly. Through the headphones in this internet cafe though, Kanye does sound pretty amazing, sonically at least.
