I thought I had a dodgy landing into JFK a few weeks ago. High winds and a heap of fog made me feel like I was at Alton Towers, not on a BA flight.
Pity then these poor passengers on this Lufthansa flight. The landing happened today, when the captain had to put the plane down in winds of over 150mph. Apparently, he landed safe and sound second time around. I'm sorry, but those poor people. Bad enough to (not) land at an angle, but to then have to take off and do it again? Ohmydazzze. There would literally have been poop in my pants.
