WTF?!?!

In one of the weirdest stories today, it seems Asher Roth recently turned superhero. The hotly-tipped rhymer helped restrain a man who claimed he had a bomb, on a Delta flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles this morning.

As the plane began to land, a male flight attendant shouted for help with a passenger who had turned violent. Roth and his bassist, Chris Llewellyn rushed to the attendant's aid.

"The suspect was yelling, 'Don't come near me, I have a bomb, I have a bomb," Llewellyn told the Los Angeles Times.

The passenger then made a dash for the rear emergency exit and tried to open it. Roth, Llewellyn and other passengers tackled the man and restrained him until authorities arrived.

"Somebody had a foot on his head. Everyone was holding down a different body part. He was going nuts. I was telling him to chill because he's not going anyplace," said Llewellyn.

No explosives were said to have been found, but the man and the plane are being checked. The suspect is expected to be charged with assaulting a flight attendant, and possibly for making terroristic threats.

Roth will be dropping his debut album in March. To read RWD's recent interview with the new kid, click here
