I'm following seminal journalist dream hampton on ( Twitter and she's provided three pieces of useful information thus far.
First is this footage of Big (below), taken by her, getting kicked out of a hotel (RIP Chris Wallace one more time!), second is that Big's daughter Tyanna has a blog and thirdly she A&R'd the Jay-Z remix of dead prez's Hell Yeh...
Ms. hampton is a one-time editor of The Source, and it was reading her features on Big, Snoop and Pac that made me want to get into journalism. To get a great insight, check out this great blog
